Title:
Fioralba Cakoni (Rutgers University). On Some Spectral Sets Important to the Scattering Theory
Detail:
In this talk we discuss three spectral sets of frequencies that intrinsically appear in the study of the scattering operator for the inhomogeneous media, namely the scattering poles, non-scattering frequencies and transmission eigenvalues. In particular, we present properties of these sets emphasizing relationships between them, as well as the role they play in the solution of the inverse scattering problem.
