03 February 2017 - Simulating wave propagation - XLiFE++, a dedicated tool, INRIA - Bat. A. Turing
Being light, radio, sound, seismic, gravity or on strings, waves are everywhere in everyday life. Studying waves leads to various and complex problems to solve, when obstacles are involved, and because waves can propagate through infinite media. How can we simulate numerically such phenomena ? How can we manage infinite media, even 3D media, without needing too many computing resources ? How can we have a versatile simulation tool instead of several more specific ones, and still being efficient ?
You can watch it on Youtube, on INRIA Saclay or INRIA Saclay intranet. |
